The Quicksilver Mail has a reputation as one of the best eating pubs in the area and we are very proud to have been awarded a 5 star hygiene rating from the Food Standards Agency and the Council. Traditional locally sourced meals, prepared fresh daily is what we do best. Our Chefs are constantly coming up with new dishes, whilst putting a twist on some old classic favourites. Oh and don't leave without trying one of our delicious Desserts! Make sure you leave some room for them.
We serve lunch between 12pm - 2pm Monday - Saturday, with the last order at 1.45pm. We offer an ample Menu plus Daily Specials and we are considered by many to have the best value Menu in town. There are also Gluten Free, Vegan and Vegetarian options available. We feel we have something to suit everyone's taste and dietary requirements. We do recommend booking as we often get fully booked during our Lunch and Evening service.
In the Evenings, Dinner is served from 6pm - 8pm Monday - Saturday, with the last order at 7.45pm. Our Daily Specials Menu and Main Menu is available Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, and Grill Night runs on a Thursday, Friday and Saturday. This offers a choice of 2 Steaks, cooked to your liking and served on our giant platter plates with all the trimmings plus a bottle of wine for one great price of £40.00
On Sundays between 12pm - 8pm, we serve a fantastic traditional Sunday Roast Lunch, with a choice of 4 locally sourced meats. Vegetarian options are available. Our dishes come with freshly prepared Seasonal Vegetables, Creamy Cauliflower Cheese and Our Chef's Fluffy Homemade Yorkshire Puddings. We are very proud to say that we have been named in the Top 15 in all of Somerset for our delicious Sunday Roast - just make sure you leave room for one of our yummy Desserts! Last order for Sunday Roasts is 7.45pm.
