We really are a "proper pub" as one of our customers puts it. We are in fact the only pub in the country named The Quicksilver Mail, which makes us pretty unique!

We do recommend booking a table as we can become fully booked on most lunch and evening services on a regular basis.

We don't like to disappoint our walk in customers but if you haven't booked, we may not be able to seat you straight away or may have no choice than to turn you away or offer you to eat in our heated patio area or garden area.
